the waiting is *nearly* over!

after 9 long months of waiting, i finally received my invitation to the next inflight training class!  when the email from "flightattendanthiring" popped into my inbox this morning, a look of shock came across my face.  i couldn't get past the word CONGRATULATIONS before i was jumping up and down and running around the place!  perhaps it's a bit of overreacting to some, but after the roller coaster of emotions with regard to this long-awaited email, i feel that my emotions were perfect!

at the time of this blog post, i still haven't been able to tell gary.  he's flying 30000 feet somewhere over indiana right now.  i know that he will share in my excitement when i'm finally able to tell him after all of these months that i'm going!!  

after finally rereading the email, i submitted the necessary information back and soon received my confirmation email that i will be a part of class 241.  i leave for dallas on may 18 and start training the next day.  i have so much to prepare before i leave in 5 short weeks!  i must have all my city codes, officer names, and PAs memorized before i head off to training!  i can't even come close to being worried or frazzled because of the perma-grin across my face!

ah!  (can you hear the big sigh of relief?!)  it's finally going to happen.  things are starting to work out as planned!
