currently i'm reading fall of giants by ken follett. after falling in love with pillars of the earth and world without end, i had to read the first book of the century trilogy. i enjoy his historical fictional tales of characters who's lives are all intertwined. fall of giants is the story of five interrelated families from various countries during the first world war and the russian revolution. at nearly 1,000 pages, it will be a while before i finish this book, but when it's completed i have a list of books to delve into!in no particular reading order, here are the books on my 'to-read' list. interestingly enough, they all are
biographies or memoirs.

i'm working on "fall of giants" now, want to try out the new jonathan franzen book gary raved about which could lead me to actually finally finish "the corrections"! i also want to read "girl with the dragon tattoo". should keep me busy for a while!
