a special dinner

nearly five years ago, g and i celebrated our first valentine's day together.  we opted to stay in instead of dealing with all the couples at fancy restaurants around the city.  so i prepared a delicious dinner at home.  this past saturday evening we celebrated our five-year anniversary at home, as well, and i made that same dinner we first enjoyed together back in 2006.  and this dinner was just as delicious and the company was equally as wonderful! 

fillet mignon cooked in italian dressing, a creamy risotto w/ zucchini and pepper, and grilled asparagus.

and i even made dessert!  mini chocolate chip cookies!!
