holy guacamole

teresa and i have had a long-running joke about "our famous guacamole".  truth is, she is the one who gave me her amazing guacamole recipe.  i then took credit for how amazing it was when people would comment how delicious my guacamole was.  so it's just taken off from there....while our recipes have started to vary slightly, they're both tasty!

here's my famous guacamole recipe:

2 ripe avocados, mashed
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 chopped tomato
juice of 1/2 lime
garlic powder (to taste)
salt (to taste)
2-3 dashes of cholula
(i never ever ever use cilantro.....the devil's herb)

and here's teresa's famous guacamole recipe:

2 avocados
3 T lemon juice
1/2 c diced onion, red or yellow
3 T chopped tomatoes (or more...depending on how chunky you like it)
1/2 t salt
2 T chopped cilantro

Scoop avocados and drizzle with lemon juice.  Mash.  Mix in remaining ingredients.

try both recipes!  you won't be disappointed!!

I do like the addition of hot salt....but guac is not guac without cilantro.

{I bet no one really 'gets' this joke}
