it's that time of year! today my indiana hoosiers start their 2011-2012 basketball season with an exhibition game against the university of indianapolis. the past fewww years have been about rebuilding and fixing our damaged program. we came off runners-up at the 2002 ncaa national championships and have been unable to climb our way anywhere near the top again. now we've put ourselves in a positive direction; we have a great coach whose career-goal is to be at indiana and he is now gaining all-american recruits.
though i'm unsure that this is "our year" i'm hoping for gains that will take us towards the top again. i'm proud of my hoosiers and though it can be difficult, frustrating, and exhausting to see us struggle, i'll never be a fair-weather fan.
