sure, there have been its downfalls - commuting 90 minutes to and from work (even having to occupy the jumpseat on full flights on a couple of occasions), flipping through hotel room television channels endlessly unable to find anything worth watching, looking at the clock over and over wondering if the alarm is set for the correct time zone, and definitely adjusting to being away from home.
nonetheless, i have started to grow accustomed to many of these things, knowing that it's all part of the job. and if i still find myself down in the dumps, i just think of all the opportunities that this job presents itself. not only am i able to travel very inexpensively on my days off, but when i'm "working", i can run off and explore all that various cities around our country have to offer.

it would have been a whole lot cooler if you had taken your good friend andrea with you... putt...
and hopefully the next month will bring you back to the great state of North Carolina (the home of the best CCD) for a couple of days.
