really? EW!

let me set this one up for you. i was working a flight from the northeast to ft lauderdale. an older man (we'll say mid-to-late 60s) was sitting in the front row. think boca. leathery tan. rose-colored glasses. gold chains.

then, one of my co-workers asked if i had noticed his necklace. i hadn't, but i saw something hanging from one of his gold chains. she told me what it said.

(here is an example. unfortunately (?) i was unable to find the one similar to his. the one he was sporting was all gold.)



so upon landing, i told my co-worker that i would LOVE nothing more than to take a picture of it. she said i should just ask him. that was something i could not do! but, before deplaning, she said to him, "i like your necklace!" to which he responded, "thanks! it's true!"
