reading in 2010: books #8 and #9

on our recent vacation, i took a couple books that i knew would be easy reading and enjoyable as i sat in the sun. i picked out two great ones!

book #8
the moonlit earth, by christopher rice

as i mentioned in a previous post, christopher rice is one of my favorite authors. i've read all of his previous novels and was eager to get my hands on his newest. this book was extremely good, full of action and suspense. i also enjoyed that one of the main characters was a flight attendant for a private airline! i honestly didn't put this book down until i was finished with it!

book #9
my horizontal life, by chelsea handler

i worked my way backwards through the books written by the funny chelsea handler. in her first book, she tells stories of her sexcapades in her earlier years. she has an dry and witty way of telling her stories. she's blunt and says the first thing that comes to her mind, offending many along the way. another quick read that kept me laughing and entertained page by page!

current read: game change by john heilemann and mark halperin
