back when it premiered on jan. 1, i was somewhat mocking 'own'.  oprah winfrey with her own network?  really?!  but i must say, i enjoy what the network has to offer. 

we record "oprah: behind the scenes" each week and look forward to watching the inner-workings of harpo studios and all that goes in to producing each of the episodes of the oprah show.  while i've never been a huge oprah fan, i have a new found respect for her.  she's extremely hard working, treats her staff well, and is an extreme perfectionist.  her producers work just as hard to make sure that everything is just right.  and oprah is quite the lush! 

then imagine my happiness when i learned of rosie o'donnell moving into harpo studios to tape her own new daytime talk show!  i know that rosie is a polarizing individual, but i really like what she has to say on many topics.  before her stint on the view, i LOVED 'the rosie o'donnell show'.  she was dubbed 'the queen of nice' in the 90s during the run of her daytime talk show.  it was enjoyable with great guests and many koosh balls!  her new show on own will be a new mix of the former 'rosie o'donnell show' and the opinions forcefully shared on 'the view'.  she hopes to give people a voice to discuss many important topcs such as autism, education in america, obseity, etc.  i'm very much looking forward to watching rosie o'donnell's return to daytime television!  ...oh, and did i mention it'll be taped in chicago?!  sign me up for tickets!
