finishing off a pathetic blogging year...

it's been almost 6 months since my last post.  i skipped nablopomo last month, ignored requests to post something new, and haven't even been good about reading posts from other blogs i follow.  i decided to take a brief hiatus from posting, even when there's been much to write about.

sadly, up until now, i've only posted 17 times in 2012.  so to make up for the lack of posts this year, i am going to finish off the year with a countdown of each month in 2012.

stay tuned this week for "2012: 12 months in 12 days".  i will include stories, pictures, and a brief recap of what happened each month throughout the year.  for me, it's enjoyable to look back at what has transpired this past year.
