top contenders

so, it's a couple weeks into the new fall television season.  i wrote about all the shows i planned on watching here, and already a few changes have taken place.

after horrible ratings, the playboy club has already been cancelled.  we watched the pilot and it was alright.  i may have continued watching it, but it doesn't hurt my feelings that it is already gone (though eddie cibrian is quite easy on the eyes).

though i've only watched one episode of the x factor, i really enjoy it!  the judges truly give positive feedback and let a singer down easily if they're not a good fit for the show.  it's on wednesday and thursday nights, but unfortunately the x factor doesn't record on wednesday night because of so many other things scheduled.  i may have to figure something out once the competition narrows down.

i'm really enjoying pan am.  obviously i love the subject matter, but after the second episode i think the story lines are starting to develop well.  i really hope that it lasts.

i wasn't originally planning on watching it, but 2 broke girls is great.  another new favorite is new girl.  the connections between the four roommates is great.  sometimes a bit awkward, but it provides for funny moments.

and of course, i absolutely love my returning favorites: modern family, big bang theory, and especially happy endings.  my reality shows are still great too: amazing race, project runway, and survivor.

my only slight disappointment might be glee.  as a gleek, it pains me to say this.  though i've enjoyed the music, i'm tired of many of the story lines; angry sue, gay kurt, and divas rachel vs. mercedes.  hopefully it will continue to get better as the season continues.  i also look forward to the winners of the glee project joining the show.

i must say i'm staying on top of my television and not falling too far behind while working!  is that sad that it's become a task?!

what are you watching and what do you love this season?

If you don't like Glee...then I am not going to feel so guilty if we take a break. I watch too much TV and can't keep up!
