friday was the one year anniversary of what is now called "the miracle on the hudson". on a cold, january day a US Airways plane made an emergency water landing on the frigid waters of the hudson river after both engines failed due to an impact with a flock of geese. in this book, the 155 survivors onboard tell their story of what took place that fearful afternoon. taken from passenger interviews, transportation transcripts, NTSB interviews, and eyewitness accounts, this book is an in-depth retelling of what many of us saw one year ago.

this was a fantastic book, delving into more than what we all heard on the news programs the following days. survivors tell of their faith, their thoughts of what might be their final moments, and those who sprang into heroic action.
