momma's got new wheels!

as someone who travels for work, my luggage is extremely important to me. so imagine my heartache on my last trip when the handle on my trusty, four-year old luggage broke. it was awful. i knew that my bag would have to be replaced. it nearly brought a tear to my eye. seriously.

i was able to make-do for one more short trip with my broken luggage. to do that, i left the handle completely extended. the problem was that the handle would not fully extend on demand. it took some yanking and silent cursing. so, the handle was extended in my trunk, on the shuttle to the airport, on the belt through the security xray machine, and in the overhead bins on the airplane.

over the weekend, i started shopping for my new luggage. it wasn't as simple as going to the store, finding a black carry-on sized bag and making the purchase. i had to make sure it was the right size (for me), had enough space inside, was completely black, and had an attachment for additional bags. after three stores, i still had nothing.

i finally found the bag that worked perfectly for me. it's sleek, stylish, and rolls like a champ! i'm eager to use it tomorrow! it's already packed for my trip in the morning!
