while this book was not on my to-read list, i needed a new book after finishing my previous one and came across 33 men on the list of new releases.  given extensive access to the mine, franklin writes a dramatic account of the 69 days the 33 miners were trapped thousands of feet underground.  their story of fear, faith, and ultimate survival are vividly shown in this book. 

i would definitely recommend adding this book to your list!
