reading in 2011: book #11

i was on the beaches of spain when i read the previous book and then this one.  perfect for laying in the sun working on a tan!

summer and the city: a carrie diaries novel

after reading the carrie diaries last summer, i was eager to read this and see where things picked up.  carrie had just been introduced to samantha jones at the conclusion of the carrie diaries and soon meets miranda in this book.  it was very interesting to see how all of "the girls" were quite different than we know them in their later years.

after watching "sex and the city 2", i was certain that the ship had sailed for those ladies.  and while i still feel that way, i'm thinking a prequel would be perfect.

very easy reads, i would highly recommend both the carrie diaries and summer and the city!
