fun and frugal

i love my city. there's always so much going on throughout the summer months in chicago. we definitely have to take advantage of the weather during the warmer months because it goes by so quickly. every year, i have a list of things that i want to do in the city. often, my list remains unchecked due to schedule and, many times, money.

it's expensive to do things. g and i always joke that it's expensive to have friends! everyone wants to do something or go somewhere and that tends to cost money. so today, while lunching outside, andrea and i came up with a plan. we want to create a blog that lists activities in and around chicago that are free or cost very little.

so, now i'm going to have to create said blog and start doing my research! i know there is plenty to do around chicago on a budget!
