a recent study was published linking obese children to increased bullying. i don't see how this comes as a surprise to anyone. the article states that 63% of obese children are more likely to be bullied than their thin peers. it's a very sad and disturbing epidemic in our country.
while i didn't see any of the episodes of food revolution, chef jamie oliver has made it his mission to bring healthy foods to school lunchrooms across the country. sadly, schools do very little to promote healthy eating and prevent childhood obesity.
